Please note that the dates have changed from our usual last weekend in February.
Each year during we sponsor a four day clinic with Buck Brannaman. Buck is part of a line of horsemen that started with Bill and Tom Dorrance and continued through Ray Hunt. He has a great deal to offer every horse and rider regardless of age, breed, or discipline.
The clinics usually consist of horsemanship or colt starting in the morning followed by roping in the afternoon. Some people ride in both classes but most choose one or the other. There is plenty of room for spectators also. The clinic is held at Christensen Field in Fremont, Nebraska in a large, heated, fairground arena with an adjacent stall barn.

SCOTT WEHRMANN Foundation Horsemanship, Cow Working, Roping, Bridle Horse Clinics, Blair, NE 68008
Scott is available for private or public clinics throughout the year. If you would like to participate in or host a clinic please contact us at 402-709-3205. Scott is also always willing to help if you are having a specific problem with your horse and will arrange for individual one-on-one training either at our home facility or at your facility, so don't hesitate to call if you would like to arrange a visit.
Throughout the year Scott provides private Foundation Horsemanship Clinics. Each clinic session is tailored to individual participant's concerns and each horse's individual needs. Clinics may include work loose in a round pen, ground work with a lariat or halter, or mounted work. Scott's quiet, gentle, and straight forward training style has proven to be very effective with all types and ages of horses.
Scott does not use shortcuts, gimmicky equipment, or "ten easy steps." While never using force or fear, he applies common sense methods and very personalized training to help the rider achieve partnership with his or her horse using the smallest of efforts based on the concepts of feel, timing, balance, release, and reward.
Scott's work is heavily influenced by Bill and Tom Dorrance, Ray Hunt, and Buck Brannaman, who may be called practitioners of foundation horsemanship, vaquero horsemanship, or, more loosely, natural horsemanship. This is a natural and effective method of communicating with horses using careful, patient and positive cues for each horse.
