These Azteca Horses are excellent prospects for dressage, hunter jumper, western, cutting, barrels, ranch horse. They have elegant and floating movements with natural piaffe and lateral flexion's. They are exceptionally talented and truly versatile. Willing and responsive, they will excel in almost any competitive or recreational event.

2010 foals

These yearlings are our second year of the Azteca breed. We continue to be happy with these foals and know from our 2009 Aztecas that this was a great cross. You can certainly see the genetic strength of these horses. We are looking forward to working on these yearlings in the coming months. We have learned a good deal about them over the past year and find they are calm and quiet but can really move nicely. .

Their sire is our PRE Andalusian, Cicerone. He was imported from Spain in 2005, Their dams are our AQHA broodmares with foundation bloodlines of Peppy San Badger and Poco Bueno. This combines the best qualities of the Andalusian and American Quarter Horse breeds for an exceptionally talented and versatile horse capable of competing at the highest levels.
